My condolences to the McCullen family and Jack's friends. Jack - You were my fellow shipmate in the U.S. Navy Fleet Ballistic Missile Submarine USS Andrew Jackson SSBN-619 Gold Crew. You were a Fire Control Technician Third Class Petty Officer then. That rating demanded the best brains available and you supplied them. You always greeted me with a broad grin! You will always be remembered by me as a very congenial, intelligent young man. We shared much of the same philosophy and enjoyed mutual conversation then and in later years via email and Facebook. I saw you last at the AJ reunion in Peoria, IL a couple of days after 9/11/2001. I have your picture taken with other shipmates. I will always cherish that picture and your memory. Rest in peace, Jack, my friend. God bless....
