pre-planning

In addition to providing funeral and cremation services when death occurs, we would like you to be aware of the benefits of pre-planning.  Many families have told us they prefer to make their arrangements in advance.  This allows them to discuss their wishes and make important decisions at a time which is far less stressful.

Pre-paying for funeral arrangements can also be an important part of an estate plan and can save hundreds of dollars over a period of time.  These funeral planning options provide a benefit to families both personally and financially.

Should you choose to pay for your funeral in advance, the fees for the funeral services and merchandise are guaranteed. You are essentially paying for a funeral at today’s price, even though the need for those services might not occur for many years. If you've already pre-planned your services with another funeral home, but would like to transfer your arrangements to our funeral home, we would be glad to discuss this with you.

With all the Reasons for Pre-Planning Funerals, Why Hasn’t Everyone Done It?

STATEMENT: FACT:
“I don’t want to think about it.”   Actually, it is easier to talk about death when everyone in the family is healthy.
“We have everything taken care of in our wills.” Wills are important in protecting your family, but are often not reviewed until after the funeral.
“We have to watch every penny.” Knowing the cost in advance allows you to plan for the expense and select only those services you want.
“My kids will take care of everything.” Taking care of the details ahead of time keeps your children from wondering if they “did the right thing”.
“I don’t care what they do with me.”  Pre-planning your funeral is really something you do for your family to spare them difficult decisions.
