Donna Mae Tovar, age 78, passed away on Saturday, Sept 2, 2017 in Mesa Arizona at Banner Baywood Medical Center after a brief illness.
She leaves her husband Dennis Crane, her Daughter Gay Rowe, grandchildren Taylor Rowe and Kyle Rowe; her Daughter Kristi Dittmann, grandchildren Michael Ellsworth and Jenny Ellsworth, great grandchildren Destiny Purcell and Ireland Purcell, and many close friends.
Donna was born June 17, 1939 and was raised on a farm in St. Ignatius, Montana. She graduated from St. Ignatius High School in 1958. Donna married Merle Matt in 1959 and they moved to Colorado, where she raised her two daughters in a loving home.
After raising her family, Donna worked for several years at the University of Colorado, from where she retired. Later, she moved to Yuma, AZ.
Donna loved to sing and dance, and spend time with friends and family. She was known for her kind spirit.
