Elvira Knight, 88 years of age, passed away at her home peacefully with her family by her side. Elvira was born on February 4, 1929 in El Centro California and was preceded in death by her late husband Jack Knight, her parents Florencio and Trinidad Orduno as well as three brothers and two sisters.
Elvira is survived by two sisters; Josie Reed and Susie Easley, her five children; Ron Knight, Jeanette Rivas, Sam Knight, Frances Wilson and Cindy Montenegro, as well as eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Elvira lived in Yuma for over forty years and worked in the pre-school food services. Elvira was also a full time homemaker who took care of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Elvira loved playing the guitar and shared her music talent with all her family and friends. She was always an entertainer and made so many people smile. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
