On May 9th, the world lost an exceptional person. Alvin was born April 27th, 1959, in Yuma, Arizona to Lonzo and Bennie Nelson.
Alvin was one of six children born to Lonzo and Bennie. He was devoted to his family and had a profound connection with his mother. Alvin was an extraordinary, spontaneous, humorous, fun-loving person, accepting of himself and others. His kindness was unsurpassed and he never held a grudge. Alvin worked hard all of his life and always had a smile for everyone he met. He was a good person and always there to help when he was needed. His playful personality was such that you wanted to be near him and enjoy his company.
He is preceded in death by his father (Lonzo) and his mother (Bennie).
He leaves behind to mourn his wife (Veronica Stuart), three brothers, Kenneth (Meredith), Robert (Terri), Don (Norma), and three sisters, Mary, Pamela (Luis), and Denise. Also three daughters, Bennie (Chris), Sunny, and Gloria Grace, and one grandson, Murphy. Four stepchildren, Deona, Omarian, Zaria, and Amaya.
