Angela Nunez Obituary

Angela Erin Nunez (Mitchell) affectionately known as ChaCha, was taken from us too soon on May 2,
2021. She was born November 8, 1975 in Yuma, Arizona and was a wonderful daughter, mother, sister,
and friend to so many.
She was employed by Women’s Health Specialists for the last 17 years and remained with the practice
as an Ambulatory Scheduling Specialist when it transitioned to YRMC Women’s Health.
She loved and was very devoted to her two sons, Gabriel and Michael Nunez as well as her fiancé, Steve
Pallanes and his four children and her four dachshunds.
She was the middle child and the bridge between her older brother, George A Mitchell and her younger
sister, Adrienne Ramirez (Mitchell). Her always smiling face and her loving heart was the glue that kept
her family together and she was at her best when family gathered for any occasion. She loved to rub her
sister’s nose in the “favorite daughter” status every year when she would claim her ornament was the
first on the Christmas tree and was sure to send a photo to her out-of-town siblings.
We will miss ChaCha’s beautiful smile and attitude toward life and her keen attention to her two sons.
You could never tell Angie or her boys news about the other because they’d already had that
conversation. Steve will miss her call every morning to let him know she was up and to check on his day
and the later phone call to let him know she was heading for her work. Her mom and dad will miss her
daily phone calls and discussions about the latest sales at the grocery store, a new tip from Pinterest,
her latest craft project or a dozen other things.
She was always making something for someone. Her latest project was memorial candles for her
grandmother’s (Betty Mitchell) celebration of life. She loved making face coverings and giving them to
family and anyone else that needed or just wanted one (or a dozen). She was an avid reader and loved
to read especially from her favorite author, Jodi Picoult.
In addition to her two sons, Gabriel and Michael, she is survived by her fiancé Steven Pallanes and his
children, Julia, Andrea, Alexia, and Tevo, her brother George (Stacie) Mitchell, their children, Karli,
Damon, Noah, and her sister Adrienne (Nicolas) Ramirez, their children, Kayla, Arabella , Randy, Ariana,
Jacob, Aneesa, and Sadie and her parents, George and Bobbie Mitchell . Her nieces and nephews all
called her Nina.
