Edward Anthony Magallanes (Eddieboy)

June 4th, 1954 - August 21st, 2025

With deepest sorrow, we announce that at age 71, Edward Anthony Magallanes left this earth on August 21st of 2025 in Phoenix, AZ to join some loved ones up in heaven. 

On June 4th of 1954, Eduardo and Virginia Magallanes were blessed with their son Edward Anthony Magallanes in Los Angeles, CA. Eddie was a son, brother, dad, grandpa, and so much more. He attended Yuma High School, was employed by the Blue Bell and Mayflower Moving Company. Eddie enjoyed his free time watching the Los Angeles Dodgers, watching John Wayne movies, listening and dancing to music, but what he loved most of all was spending time with his family and friends.

Eddie will be greatly missed by his spouse; Sherial Magallanes, his kids; Yolanda (Magallanes) Downing, Angela (Magallanes) Mendoza, Leticia Magallanes, Edward Anthony Magallanes Jr, George Magallanes, Kathleen Davis, Jason Davis Jr., his 12 grandchildren, his 14 great-grandchildren and many more family and friends.

Those who knew and spent time with Eddie will have many words to describe him, but just a few would consist of him being hardworking, loving, loyal, and funny. Eddie had a loving heart and a light so bright he would light up any dark room. The love he gave and the laughter he shared will forever be cherished and never forgotten. 

Viewing services will be held on Sunday September 7th, 2025 at Yuma Mortuary from 6 pm to 9 pm. The rosary will begin at 7 pm. Holy Mass will be Monday September 8th, 2025 at Immaculate Conception Church beginning at 10 am. The burial will be following mass and held at Desert Lawn Memorial Park. The celebration of life will be held at the Eagles Clubhouse at 2 pm.
