Ellen is a member of the Quechan Tribe, Xaanye, (frog clan) born in San Pedro, California born to Elaine Bryant and James Blue, she Graduated from Banning High School, Willington, Ca. and attained a bachelor’s degree, Ellen retired from Aerospace, Procurement Officer with 24 years of service.
Ellen was such a kindhearted, witty, compassionate devoted and thoughtful woman. She always came back home for the Tribal Holidays and special events, along with taking time to visit her relatives. She made sure she was updated on Quechan Tribal affairs from the monthly meetings. She was well versed in Quechan Tribal culture, language and tradition by George Bryant, Uncle and family matriarch of the Bryant, Yeager families.
Ellen is survived by her children Marvin Lynnard Reed, Marie Lynette Gaines, Ryan Leshon Reed, Adrian Namid Parks, Elijah Anderson, Sisters, Anna Blue Gordon Weaver, Barbra Blue Edward White. Grandchildren, Joseph, Ebonie, Deondrah, Mercedes, (Reed), Stephanie, Jason, Tracey, (Perkins), Vanessa, Alyssa, Ryan, jr., Shania, Kia, King, Xoi, Khross, O’shea, Covve, George, MaryJane, Kaila, Asariah (Fernandez), Manta, Makayla, Arlene, Kaimana, Serenitt, and Leilani.
Ellen is preceded in everlasting life by her Parents, Elaine Bryant Blue, and James Blue, Sisters, Lorraine Blue, Marlene Blue, Kim Blue, Nadine Scott, (Nakwii) Uncle, George Bryant, (Nasii) Cecilia Marie Bryant Montague (James), (Namuy) Rosalyn Brown, (Namuy) Muriel Bryant, (Namuy) Erma Jean Anderson, (Nakwii) Michael Bryant Jr. Grandparents, (Nakwoow) Michael Bryant and (Nakyew) Anna Jeager (Havachats), Great Grandparents, Chappo Bryant (Ha-chat-o-Kave) and Clara (Ah-ha)
Ellen, you will be forever in our hearts, and always remembered.
