Esperanza dedicated her life to Jesus Christ and was devoted to our mother Mary. If you couldn't find her, she was at mass or volunteering her time by cooking and baking her famous bread that everyone loved. She loved the kitchen and enjoyed catering and making her delicious burritos.
Her door was always open for coffee and some pan dulce. She always had a smile on her face and she rarely said no when she was called upon to serve at church or give a friend a ride. She served for many years as a Commentator and Lecturer at Immaculate Conception Church and Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission, and as she liked to call it, La Capillita. She was also a member of the Grupo de Oracion at la capillita for many years. Since she loved to sing to Jesus Christ, she sang with her son Hector for many years with the choir "Jesus Amigo". She was a very strong woman and fought her battle to the end. Now she is resting and has no more pain.
