Frank Hom of Yuma passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on April 15, 2021. He was born on
May 21, 1929 to Moon S. Hom and Sin O. Lee in Oakland, CA. His livelihood efforts were
managing “Hom’s Market” for over 60 years. Frank and Amy served their community with
warmth and humility. They enjoyed all who passed through their neighborhood store. Frank is
survived by his devoted sons and daughters-in-love: Edward (Looo), Howard (Tammy) and
Elwood Hom; loving grandchildren: Justin, Mitchell (Stefanie), Dustin, and Brandon (Kasey)
Hom; precious great-grandchildren: Braxtyn, Timothy, Lukas, Theodore and Madelyn Hom;
sweet sisters: Mee Tow and May (Thomas) Chew; caring sister-in-law: Esther Hom and many
adored nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. He is predeceased by his beloved
wife: Amy and brothers, Koon (Alice) and Park Hom.
Please join us for a Celebration of His Life at the Visitation on Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 6- 8
pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 9 am at Yuma Mortuary. His final
resting place will be at Desert Lawn Memorial Park at 11 am.
