James Austin Obituary

James W. Austin (Jim) passed away on Jan 10, 2021 at Yuma Regional Hospital, Yuma, Arizona. He was born to Raymond and Anna J (Jefferson) Austin in Bloomington, Illinois on May 16, 1935.

He leaves behind his cherished wife of 63 years Sonia (McElroy) Austin. A sister Rae Ann (John) Thomas their 7 children; Peter (Lea) Austin Dan (yoshiko)Austin, Diana (Les) Gibson, Cathy Austin, Elizabeth (Bob) Haley , Paul (Karen)Austin, and Ruth (Rick) Soat 20 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. A sister Rae Ann (John) Thomas. A sister Rae Ann (John) Thomas

Presided in death by one grandson and a great grandson

He had a great love for photography, Pipe Theatre Organs, HAM RADIO ( KE7MVO) was his sign. He was a Veteran of Cold War.
