Jeremy Thomas Obituary

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the untimely passing of Jeremy Glenn Thomas, a
cherished husband, father, son, brother, and friend, who departed from us on September 15th,
2024, at the age of 46. Jeremy profoundly impacted the lives of many, and his absence will be
deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Born in Ocean Springs, MS, Jeremy graduated from St. Martin High School in 1996. He
concluded his dedicated service as a U.S. Marine Staff Sergeant on September 30th, 2014,
after a distinguished military career. His service to the nation was marked by his work on KC-
130 aircraft Power Plants Systems and later as an instructor at “A” School for Power Plants.
Jeremy was renowned for his ability to swiftly master any challenge, and his exceptional skills
and leadership left an indelible mark on his colleagues.
Following his retirement, Jeremy moved to Yuma, AZ, where he began a new chapter in his
career in HVAC. In March 2016, he became a part of Hyatt Air Yuma, where his aptitude for
acquiring new skills quickly made him an indispensable asset to the team. He earned great
respect within the community, and his contributions to both commercial and residential projects
will be fondly remembered.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jeremy's warm smile and contagious laughter were
a source of joy for everyone around him. His vibrant personality and ability to bring comfort and
laughter to others will be sorely missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
An avid outdoorsman, Jeremy loved hunting, fishing, and exploring the beauty of his
surroundings. His adventurous nature was complemented by his friendly personality, allowing
him to forge connections with everyone he encountered. Always ready with a joke, Jeremy was
fiercely devoted to his loved ones.
Jeremy is preceded in death by his father, Glenn Thomas. He is lovingly remembered by his
wife, Sandra, and their three children, Brandon, Kayla, and Jeremy Jr. He is also survived by his
mother, Tammy Thomas, his brother Joshua (Bethany) Thomas, his sister Shelby (Shiloh)
Snow, his sister-in-law Susie, his father-in-law Robert, his mother-in-law Maria Casillas, and his
beloved Maw Maw Jo, along with six nephews and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and
friends.
In the coming days, we will gather to celebrate Jeremy’s life, honoring the incredible person he
was and the lasting impact he made on all of us.
May Jeremy find eternal peace, living on in our hearts and cherished memories.
