Joseph Brown Cachora

On Monday, October 28, 2024 Joseph Brown Cachora, 42 passed away in Yuma, AZ at Onvida Health surrounded by loved ones. He was born on Wednesday, February 3, 1982, in Yuma, Arizona to Delores Brown and Dale Cachora.

Joe was a proud member of the Quechan Indian Tribe and was a 2000 graduate of San Pasqual High School where he played his favorite sport, football.

He married Krysta Cachora on March 28, 2014. Previously, Joe worked at Paradise Casino as a security officer and surveillance monitor. He last worked as a bartender at Buffalo Wild Wings where he enjoyed spending time with many people. Joe, was affectionately known as Papa Joe by his many friends and Pumpkin by his family. He was outgoing and the biggest teddy bear who was loved by all who met him. He enjoyed fishing, being the life of the party and jamming out to music. He was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers and Boston Celtics fan and the cool uncle to his many nieces and nephews. He had the ability to make anyone smile and gave the best hugs. Joe will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by mother, Delores Brown; father, Dale Cachora; sisters, Claudette White, Dureena White and brother, Alex Cachora.

He is survived by his wife, Krysta; children, Anaya, Brayden, Paeton, grandson, Hudson; and honorary son, Zion White; brothers, John Cachora, Donald Cachora, Caine Palone, Patrick Brown III, James Espino; sisters, Alexis Cachora, Andrea Waters, Maiklen Waters, Mary Brown, Amber Cachora-Espino and Leah Brown.

Family, and friends are invited to the Yuma Mortuary, 775 S. 5th Ave., Yuma, AZ 85364 from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 to reminisce and honor the life of Joe. At 5:00 pm, the family will make their way to the Quechan Big House in Winterhaven, CA for last traditional ceremonial rites with cremation at 5:00 am on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.
