Juanita Cortez Mesa

Juanita Cortez Mesa,91, passed away June 11th, 2023 in Yuma, AZ. She was born September 3rd, 1931 in Anthony, New Mexico. Juanita loved listening to music (Ramon Ayala, Freddie Martinez, Cornelio Reyna), loved making jokes, watching baseball games, plants, casino and chile rellenos. Juanita loved her family and was very loved.
She is survived by her 8 children including her sons Ruben Mesa, Raul Mesa (Eva), Robert Mesa, Raymond Mesa, daughters Maria Mesa, Margaret Delgado, Martha Mesa (Jesus), Marlene Mesa, 30 grandchildren and many great/great great grandchildren.
Juanita was preceded in death by her husband Manuel Mesa and her son Richard Mesa.
Viewing will be on Thursday June 22nd at 5-8pm at Yuma Mortuary  775 S 5th Ave, Yuma, AZ 85364. Burial will be on Friday June 23rd @9:30a at Desert Lawn Memorial Park 1415 S 1st Ave, Yuma, AZ 85364.
