Nicholas William Berg

Nicholas William Berg, 22, was born on Saturday, March 20th, 1999. Nicholas, a resident of Yuma, Arizona died unexpectedly on Sunday, September 12th, 2021. “A Life Unfinished”, full of purpose and meaning, taken from us too soon, while in the prime of his life.

Nicholas was born in San Diego, California and later moved to Yuma, Arizona during his adolescent life. Nicholas was the son of David and Liberty Berg. In addition to his parents, Nicholas is survived by his siblings, Liberty Carrie and Ernest Jr. He was the grandson of the late Frank and Juanita Berg, of Columbia, SC and the late Federico and Elisa Navalta, of Manila Philippines. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins, friends and many other people that were touched by the life of Nicholas.

Nicholas was an alumnus of Gila Ridge High School, Class of 2018. At the time of his death, Nicholas was enrolled at Arizona Western College to pursue a career in Business Management.

Nicholas enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, but most importantly his love for animals and his dog “Kage”. Nicholas was the life of the party and loved to have a good time. Nicholas loved to look good, and we will always remember him for his good style and taste. He was a very loving, kind and generous guy. He always made sure that others had and always protected those he cared about the most.

Nicholas will truly be missed and one day we will see him again. The Family of the late Nicholas Berg appreciate all the outpour of calls, texts messages, flowers and condolences received. At this time, there will be no public viewing or memorial services, in the respects of Nicholas’ final wishes.
