Patricia Ann Larimore, also known as Patti, peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on August 7, 2023, at the age of 78 in Yuma, Arizona. Patti was born on August 12, 1944, in Bakersfield, California, to her late mother, Beverly Miller, and is preceded in death by her sister, Bobbi Penrod. Patti is survived by her daughter, Kris Brown (Donny), her son, Lou Gum, her grandchildren, Brandon and Jordyn, and her great-grandchild, Daxton. She is also survived by her sister, Betty Duey.
Patti was a vibrant and adventurous soul, full of life and always up for taking risks. Her quick wit and sense of humor brought joy to those around her. Patti had a diverse range of interests and hobbies. She loved to sing, spend time with her family, and was an avid bowler.
She owned and operated the Black Cat Bar for several years and ran a disposal service where she built lasting connections with her customers and community.
Patti considered Seligman her home and loved her connection to Route 66.
A celebration of Patti's life will be held at St. Francis Catholic Church Hall in Seligman, Arizona on Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friends and family are invited to come together to honor and remember Patti during this time.
In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to the Foundation of Yuma Regional Medical Center or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. These organizations held a special place in Patti's heart, and contributions made in her honor will support their important work.
Patti's spirit will forever be cherished by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and her memory will live on through the stories and laughter shared by her loved ones.
