Randy Stewart Obituary

Randy Neal Stewart (1958–2026)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Randy Neal Stewart, who passed away on January 16, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on March 29, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois, Randy was known for his strong work ethic and his remarkable ability to connect with anyone he met, bringing joy to those around him.

A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Randy dedicated more than 20 years of honorable service to his country, serving with integrity, discipline, and pride. Following his military career, he worked for Boeing in aircraft operations before continuing his commitment to service as a Marine Corps Police Officer, retiring as a Lieutenant Watch Commander.

Randy had a lifelong passion for bowling, attending numerous tournaments and participating in many leagues throughout the years, including supporting youth bowling clinics. He was also an active member of Elks Lodge 476 in Yuma, where he devoted his time to community service and fellowship.

Randy was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Rachel, with whom he shared 48 years of marriage. He was a loving father to Monica (Sean), Nick (Mary), and Chris (Mariah), and a deeply proud grandfather to seven grandchildren. Nothing brought Randy greater joy than being present for his grandchildren—faithfully attending their games, performances, and special events. Whether cheering from the sidelines or offering encouragement afterward, he was their biggest supporter and greatest fan.

Randy was also a loyal friend to many. His legacy of service, abundant stories, laughter, and unwavering love for his family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

The family invites all who knew and loved Randy to attend a funeral service on February 28, 2026 at Immaculate Conception Parish at 10:00 am Rosary, Mass to follow, followed by a celebration of life at Gila Vista Jr. High School Cafeteria at 1:00 pm. Attendees are encouraged to wear sports gear or team colors in honor of Randy's love for his favorite sports teams.
