Rosemary (Angulo) Ybarra

Rosemary A. Ybarra passed away in Yuma, AZ on Sunday August 20th 2023 at the age of 64. 

Born to Jimmy D. Angulo and Anita P. Angulo on May 3rd 1959 in Yuma, AZ, and sister to Jimmy Angulo, Rosemary was a caring wife to Samuel Ybarra and loving mother to sons Samuel E. Ybarra and Joseph A. Ybarra.  In addition to her sons, Rosemary was a beloved aunt to several of her nieces and nephews whom she cared for and watched over throughout her life. 

Rosemary worked in several jobs throughout her career, including Eligibility Specialist for Housing America, Representative at Alsco, and Caretaker with Rise, where she brought a level of joy and laughter many coworkers knew her for. 

The light and energy Rosemary brought to her family and friends on a daily basis, was nothing short of amazing and will be sorely missed.  She had a way of amping up the conversations and livening up the party, and just plain bringing happiness wherever she was and to whomever she was around. 

A memorial service will be held for Rosemary at Yuma Mortuary (775 S. 5th Ave, Yuma, AZ) on Monday 08/28/2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.  A church mass will also be held Tuesday 08/29/2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Elks Lodge (1917 W. 32nd St. Yuma, AZ).
