Warren passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones on May 30, 2023. He was born on March 19, 1938 to Max and Mildred Rautenberg in Newark, NJ. Warren and his family moved to Yuma, AZ when he was 12 years old where he attended Fourth Ave Jr. High and graduated from Yuma High in 1955.
Warren met and married Wanda; together they had three children, Debbie, Donna and Steven. Warren was a talented home and auto painter. Her helped and worked with his brother Dick, at Dicks Auto Rebuilders. Warren later became the sole owner and operated of Dicks Auto Rebuilders for over 50 years, providing quality customer service to the Yuma community. He was proud and loved what he did. Warren married a second time and gained another son, Ryan with wife Margie.
In 1985 Warren met Linda, his wife of 28 years. He also gained two daughters, Brooke and Sacha. Together they shared several memories. Warren's favorite past times were spending time with Linda on their boat, The Sea Condo, in San Diego. They were also avid baseball fans of the San Diego Padres. Warren held season tickets for several years. They also enjoyed spending time at their cabin in Northern Arizona. Another one of his many joys was his Pantera Car Collection; he always beamed with pride when talking about his cars, for that matter any car. He loved what he did and was extremely talented and knowledgeable.
Warren is survived by his wife Linda Rautenberg; children, Donna Curry, Steven (Peggy) Rautenberg, Ryan Rautenberg, Brooke (Barry) Wise, Sacha (Matt) Martellaro; grandchildren, Jocelyn, Sara, Max, Eric, Kyla, Clinton, Chad, Chase, Steven, Nicholas, Julian, Jade, Alexis, Maddison, Nick, Ethan, Kody and Manny. Warren is also survived by 37 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandsons and a great-great-granddaughter on the way.
Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred and Max Rautenberg; daughter, Debbie Rautenberg; brothers, Eddie and Dick Rautenberg and son-in-law, Clint Curry.
There will be a Celebration of Life in Honor of Warren Rautenberg on Saturday, June 24, 2023 held at Yuma Golf and County Club at 6:00 pm.
